If everything applies, upgrading your BIOS is likely a worthwhile idea.
Most update packages consist of a flash program which is responsible for the setup and the actual BIOS-Update, often accompanied by a text file of some sort detailing the release notes.
To locate other BIOS versions you can try and find the version download by navigating through the links located at Caution: If Bit Locker is not suspended before updating the BIOS, the next time you reboot the system it will not recognize the Bit Locker key.
You will then be prompted to enter the recovery key to progress and the system will ask for this on each reboot.
Typically you won't need to as a PC or laptop will be set up to look for a removable disc or drive before trying to boot from the hard drive.
